Daher Aerospace, family owned and operated in 13 countries with a rich history dating back to 1863, is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for our next Sheet Metal Mechanic Entry Level Class beginning on/around February 23, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for on-the-job training that can start you on an exciting career path in aviation manufacturing! Hourly rate of pay for this position is $21.67/hour.

As a Daher employee you will participate in our comprehensive 6-week training program, with in class and hands on training, be assigned a mentor, and upon successful completion, earn your Level One Sheet Metal Mechanic rank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, modify, and install aircraft sheet metal and composite components.

• Fabricate and rework complex structural assemblies.

• Use precision measuring devices to ensure quality standards.

• Perform inspections and maintain accurate work records.

• Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.

Basic Skills and Requirements:

• Mechanical experience required, including the use of drills, pneumatic tools, and hand tools

  • Must be able to demonstrate comfort level and competency using them.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

• Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift upon completion of class.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Frequent use of hands for various tasks.

• Standing, walking, reaching, and stooping regularly.

• Maintain steady hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.

• Effective communication skills and ability to hear.

HOURLY RATE OF PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS $21.67/HOUR
