D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Foundation Waterproofer. The right candidate will oversee the entire waterproofing process during the construction of a foundation or basement, including applying sealant, installing a drainage system, and operating a skid loader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure the final accuracy and cleanup of the project
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
  • Apply waterproofing sealant using hand application at critical junctions such as piping or joints
  • Use a hydraulic sprayer to apply the sealant to larger areas
  • Install drainage system
  • Use a skid loader to cover the drainage tile with rock
  • Perform basic laborer duties as needed
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime



Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • May require CDL in compliance within DOT guidelines
  • OSHA Certification to operate skid loader
  • Prior experience with or knowledge of hydraulic sprayers
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
  • Ability to understand and communicate in basic English
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision 
  • Regular exposure to extreme weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places and risk of electrical shock.  The noise level is generally loud
