About this role

Objective of job:

  • Lead and coordinate a main project in category C according to customer requirements for assuring product development and support from the conception phase until series production. 

 

Principle activities:

  • Create project plans/concepts and assure they are followed (e.g. resource planning, schedule planning, cost planning, etc.) in cooperation with technical or key project leaders as well as technical areas; introduce actions in case of deviations, as required
  • Cooperate in conducting risk analyses
  • Develop suggestions for project organization; select suitable associates in cooperation with supervisors and define tasks, rules and interfaces
  • Assure compliance with allocated project budget and distribute to functions reporting to him/her (e.g. sub-project leaders, etc.); introduce actions in case of deviations
  • Act as interface between involved internal/ external areas (e.g. key project leader, technical project leader, sub-project leader, customers, suppliers, departments, etc.)
  • Assure compliance with set project indicators/ goals
  • Analyze and evaluate changes (internal/ external), cooperate in negotiations (e.g. volume and costs of changes, etc.) and assure implementation
  • Create and check project reports and presentations, as well as project conclusion documentation
  • Provide technical leadership for project associates and/ or sub-project leaders
  • Cooperate in optimizing/developing processes, systems and methods (e.g. conduct lessons learned reviews, etc.)
  • Compile, analyze, and evaluate necessary data for creation of an investment overview based on the annual investment plan as well as check and evaluate the annual the annual post-calculations
  • Promote problem solving, setting priorities, and making future-oriented decisions in cooperation with the departments and with the supervisors
  • Assure compliance with defined escalation steps in case of target/ actual deviations
  • Process tasks according to SEP (analysis of concepts and scenarios)
  • Hand over the project to series production (or representatives from series production); conduct series support in the sense of technical product responsibility, as a contact person for product-specific matters
  • Support products in the series phase/model updates (e.g. model year change, LCI, MOPF, etc.)
  • Develop technical solutions for part changes based on customer requirements manuals
  • Clarify technical solutions and explain these technical solutions as part of customer meetings
  • Check technical feasibility in cooperation with technical project management
  • Analyze change requests with regard to tools, product quality and subsequent processes
  • Prepare/evaluate and release information for the analysis of cost effects
  • Assure that there is current data in the internal DRX digital drawing archive and the CAD databases that are linked with the customer; act as contact person in case of inconsistencies
  • Transfer series products into the spare parts service (e.g. excesses, transfers, standard parts, etc.)
  • Support the purchasing department in controlling changes and selecting suppliers

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • 1 to 2 years of Project/Program Management.
  • Basic knowledge of Norm IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO45001:2018
  • Basic knowledge of Injection Molding, Risk Analysis and Stastical Tools.
