Objective of the position
Leading, controlling and coordinating sub-projects relating to the procurement and planning of assembly systems and testing technology with the relevant assigned project functions. Monitoring project execution including change management and target achievement on the basis of checklists and key figures.
Planning and realization of production processes and facilities for existing and new products in the Dräxlmaier Group plants worldwide in cooperation with all relevant departments working on projects in the group and, if necessary, within the department.
Principal activities:
• Acting as an internal contact person within your own specialist area.
• Creating project plans/concepts and ensuring compliance (e.g. resource planning, scheduling, cost planning, etc.) in coordination with specialist and/or main project managers and specialist departments; if necessary, initiating measures in the event of deviations.
• Professional management of project employees.
• Creation and implementation of planning, procurement, commissioning, parameterization and balancing of assembly and testing systems in line with requirements, taking into account the project objectives and applying knowledge of almost all production processes as well as developing new or further developing existing system technologies.
• Execution of the activity in all project phases: Acquisition through to handover to the series plant and in the event of changes.
• Analyzing and evaluating changes (internal/external), participating in negotiations (e.g. scope and costs of changes, etc.) and ensuring implementation.
• Planning and monitoring of equipment budgets at equipment level (assembly systems and testing technology) with the aim of meeting the specified targets.
• Creation, maintenance and comparison of the resource schedules with the project plans in cooperation with the project team.
• Active participation in the specialist project Operations.
• Implementing the organization and processes in your own area of responsibility in coordination with your supervisor and DRX standards.
• Coordinating, channeling and reporting on specialist topics to the New Product Launch Manager and the line manager.
• Evaluation of the overall planning with regard to feasibility and risks and development of alternative concepts and coordination with the New Product Launch Manager.
• Identification of project risks and reporting to the New Product Launch Manager and the line manager. • Customer contact in the context of acquisition and development projects. Representing the department in external appointments.
• Provision and filling of information objects in the production systems in order to be able to carry out further evaluations.
• Participation in the optimization of our products (design to cost, design for manufacturing)
• Creation of the process FMEA and collaboration on the product FMEA.
• Creating the process flows.
• Preparation of specifications and requirement specifications for the procurement of operating resources in cooperation with the necessary specialist departments and cooperation in the strategic selection of suppliers.
• Negotiations with internal and external suppliers with regard to technology, deadlines and content in coordination with the relevant assigned project functions.
Requirements:
Professional career: BD Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Engineering.
Relevant experience: 3-5 years working in the role in the automotive environment. Extensive knowledge of functional processes or the range of products (techniques, systems, manufacturing process). Knowledge in harness manufacturing processes HV.
-English Business Level.
