About this role

Objective of the position 

  • Participate on further development and ensuring the implementation of controlling processes and/or instruments (e.g. cost and activity accounting, cost-unit accounting, management reporting etc.).
  • Addition (throughout the whole group): Participation into the establishment, further development and maintenance of controlling processes and/or instruments, establishment of group standards, definition, development, maintenance and administration of the required master data and systems.
  • Participate of the implementation and use of the DGT (DRÄXLMAIER global template) within the synapsis program at Controlling in the implementation location, taking into account the strategic direction of the synapsis program in parallel with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Participate for ensuring creation of assigned deliverables on time and on budget in accordance with methodology of the synapsis program.
  • Contact person for the project manager for the synapsis roll-out.
  • The contact person for the central governance team of DGT, ensuring a consistent implementation solution.
    Principal Activities:
  • Act as internal and external contact person (e.g. for the extended process implementation team, DGT central governance team, functional approval committees.) in Controlling area; cooperate in internal working groups (e.g. decision meetings on requested differences, Fit/Gap meetings, design meetings).
  • Participate on the creation of internal documentation and provides assistance in creating external documentation (e.g. process documentation, FSDs, training documents, etc.) and presents them (e.g. in extended meetings of team).
  • Identify general continuing education needs (eg SAP training) in controlling within the company; plan and organize internal and external training on complex topics, both in the country and abroad (for example for all relevant synapsis systems to facilitate innovations/changes).
  • Support for determining and optimizing internal standards (e.g. customization projects, training documentation) and complex processes in Controlling.
  • Observe / identify trends in controlling (eg new SAP features available for the implementation location) to develop new concepts; suggest recommendations for improvements.
  • Mainly carries out conceptual activities within his area of expertise (e.g. development of business continuity measures, etc.).
  • Participate on the preparation of Fit/Gap, testing, training and pilot sessions for newly developed SAP processes and applications.
  • Participate on the implementation of Fit/Gap sessions, testing, training and implementation of the pilot stages for the processes and applications developed for the synapsis program.
  • Develop specifications to optimize and stabilize DGT.
  • Ensures the execution of requested customizations in SAP and/or other applications (for example, Teamcenter, MES).
  • Receives and coordinates change requests from the implementation location; conducts development reviews and reviews implementation options with involved departments (eg IT etc.).
  • Analyze areas for improvement; coordinates analysis of errors and offers solutions to eliminate errors and develop suggestions for improvement.
  • Support on resolve difficult questions / issues, including special cases (eg on-site support, hypercare/post-implementation support, etc.).
  • Ensure the transfer of knowledge and its teaching to the RUN organization and to the community of process partners.
  • Availability to carry out business trips and/or delegations within and outside the country, which can occupy approximately 30% of working time.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
  • Promoting and maintaining an efficient collaboration, based on a partnership with all the departments with which interaction is needed.
  • Respect and applies escalation regulations which were agreed upon with the superior.

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Controlling, Engineering
