We hope you will join us.</p> <p><strong>Overview</strong><br></p> <p>The AI Automation Analyst / Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AI-driven automations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the enterprise. In addition to delivery responsibilities, this role leads and coordinates the AI Steering Committee, helping shape AI priorities, governance, and roadmap alignment across business and IT stakeholders.</p> <p>This role combines technical execution, process analysis, and enterprise AI leadership without direct people management.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p>AI Automation Delivery (Individual Contributor)</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and support AI-enabled automations using low-code, RPA, APIs, and AI services</li> <li>Implement document intelligence, data extraction, classification, and workflow automation solutions</li> <li>Integrate AI automations with ERP, HRIS, finance, and other enterprise systems</li> <li>Develop scripts and logic (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to support automation workflows</li> <li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automations for reliability and performance</li> </ul> <p>AI Strategy &amp; Steering Committee Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key member of the AI Steering Committee, including meeting facilitation, agenda setting, and follow-up actions</li> <li>Partner with business and IT leaders to identify, prioritize, and govern AI use cases</li> <li>Establish standards for responsible AI use, security, data handling, and compliance</li> <li>Maintain an enterprise AI roadmap aligned to business value and risk tolerance</li> <li>Ensure visibility and transparency into AI initiatives across the organization</li> </ul> <p>Business Partnership &amp; Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Work directly with CCR Development, Solutions, Finance, HR, Operations, M&amp;A, Legal, and IT stakeholders to understand processes and opportunities</li> <li>Translate business requirements into technical automation designs</li> <li>Document workflows, data flows, controls, and dependencies</li> <li>Measure and report automation outcomes (time saved, cost reduction, accuracy improvements)</li> </ul> <p>Governance, Risk &amp; Controls</p> <ul> <li>Ensure AI automations comply with security, privacy, and access control standards</li> <li>Implement monitoring, logging, testing, and change management practices</li> <li>Support audit, compliance, and risk review activities related to AI solutions</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Technical</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft CoPilot, Power Automate, ChatGPT, Zapier, Agentic AI</li> <li>Experience building or configuring Microsoft Copilot Agents or using Copilot Studio</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations and SharePoint, Teams, or Dynamics workflows</li> <li>Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.)</li> <li>Experience integrating SaaS systems using APIs and webhooks</li> <li>Familiarity with AI/ML services (LLMs, OCR, document intelligence, NLP)</li> <li>Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages</li> <li>Understanding of enterprise data formats and basic SQL</li> <li>Experience with ERP, AP, HRIS, or financial systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, ADP)</li> </ul> <p>Leadership &amp; Communication</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading cross-functional working groups or committees</li> <li>Thrives in fast-paced environments with a fail fast and iterative approach mindset</li> <li>Strong communication and facilitation skills</li> <li>Comfort presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience developing AI governance frameworks or standards</li> <li>Experience with enterprise automation governance programs</li> <li>Experience with AI-assisted tools or workflow augmentation</li> <li>Ability to create documentation and user training materials</li> </ul> <p>Success Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Successful delivery and adoption of AI automations</li> <li>Measurable reduction in manual effort and errors</li> <li>Alignment and prioritization of AI initiatives through the steering committee</li> <li>Compliance with AI governance and security standards</li> <li>Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> The preferred location for this role is in office at Durham, NC or Washington, DC. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office schedule of three days per week.</p> <p><strong>(ONLY INCLUDE IF STATE LAW APPLIES)Compensation:</strong> The salary range for the position is (ENTER SALARY) plus bonus and benefits.
