Site Reliability Engineer

About this role
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help establish and scale SRE practices at Cynet.
You will work closely with R&D and technical leads to improve the reliability, observability, and operational maturity of our production environments.
You will lay the foundation for the SRE function—designing alerting standards, building playbooks, and driving automation—while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen our cloud and Kubernetes based infrastructure.
What will you do
- Monitor and support production cloud and Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Work alongside R&D teams to design and implement actionable alerts
- Fully integrate monitoring and alerting into a centralized incident management platform (e.g., PagerDuty, OpsGenie)
- Create and maintain runbooks and playbooks to automate responses to known failure scenarios
- Improve observability across services using metrics, logs, and alerts
- Identify reliability gaps and recommend infrastructure and architectural improvements
- Enable R&D teams to operate more efficiently through tooling, automation, and SRE best practices
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience operating production cloud environments
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes in production – a MUST
- Strong troubleshooting skills on Linux and Windows systems
- Experience working with Git based workflows
- Experience with Docker and Helm (ArgoCD – advantage)
- Experience working with Terraform in production – major advantage
- Experience with ELK or centralized logging solutions
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana as a monitoring stack – major advantage
- Scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell
- Knowledge of Python – major advantage
