Requisition Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Medical Economics to join our team! The Sr. Analyst participates on complex medical economic projects (e.g. Medical Cost Savings Initiatives).

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Project Management accountabilities include project oversight including initiation, identification and completion of key deliverables to ensure all business objectives are met
  • Responsible for the development of provider fee schedules.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of key medical economics business efforts e.g. medical cost initiatives, policies/programs and analytical models.
  • Accountable for all financial projections associated with project.


Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of work experience in Analytics or Finance


Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of managed care and how provider reimbursement policies relate to the control of medical claims costs.
  • Full comprehension of provider reimbursement logic
  • Full comprehension of provider fee schedules
  • Knowledge of market-place delivery (understanding of provider relationships).
  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

Skilled in:

  • Advanced communication/presentation skills.
  • Proficient Excel and Access
  • Strong analytical ability and familiarity with advanced financial and healthcare concepts.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently.


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
