Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Mechanical Engineering student to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) industry and Green Building Certifications. You will work directly under senior engineers/project managers to assist in design and project management for retrofit projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Responsibilities

· Assist in the preparation of technical reports, method statements, and operation manuals.

· Support the engineering team in data collection and documentation management.

2. Design Engineering

· Design Calculations: Assist in performing design and performance calculations to determine equipment sizing and evaluate the system performance.

· Equipment Selection: Assist in the selection of Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, and MV fans based on project specifications.

· Duct/Pipe Sizing: Help calculate friction losses and size ductwork and piping networks efficiently.

3. Project Management

· Site Coordination: Assist project engineers in site supervision to ensure installation follows drawings and safety standards.

· Progress Monitoring: Track daily site progress and assist in preparing the weekly progress report for the client.

· Testing & Commissioning: Witness and document the T&C processes for air-side and water-side systems.

 

Requirements

· Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.

· Knowledge Base: Understanding of basic Air-Conditioning System

· Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
