About this role

  • We are interested in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Controls Engineering and other Engineering degree students.

  • Positions generally last 3-6 month and are either full-time or part time.

  • Positions will be in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Please only apply if you can join us, working onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Will work a variety of functions including designing I/O systems and control applications

  • Troubleshooting electrical networks and controls implementations

  • Installing and configuring software applications and computer systems

  • Reviewing and updating System Requirements Specifications

  • Development of System Design Documents

  • Development of User Manuals and Acceptance Test Procedure

  • Assist with the building and testing of a test system

  • Design, analysis, testing, crafting work instructions, and integration

  • May review drawings/schematics, LabVIEW projects, data entry, investigate improvement opportunities for all engineering activities

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

  • Understanding of basic electrical principals

  • Understanding of analog, digital, I/O equipment engineering, test, analysis and modeling.

  • Experience using C / C++ / C#, Microsoft Office Products, and Microsoft Visual Studio is helpful
