<p><strong>Young Parents &amp; Young Persons Support Worker</strong></p><p><strong>£24,730 per annum + benefits | Pathways, Bath | Permanent</strong></p><p><strong>Full Time | 37 hours per week</strong></p><h6>Your Voice, Our Encouragement, Together We Strengthen Community Connection and Belonging.</h6><p>We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our Supported Housing team, working directly with customers to help them achieve their goals and maintain safe, stable accommodation. </p><p>You will provide tailored, person-centred support through planned interventions, working closely with partner agencies and internal teams to meet a wide range of needs. </p><p>Supported by an experienced Team Leader, you will play a key role in empowering customers to build independence, manage their tenancies, and make positive, lasting changes in their lives.<strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><ul><li><p>Deliver person-centred support plans and risk assessments that help customers achieve their goals and sustain their accommodation.</p></li><li><p>Complete sign-ups and inductions, ensuring customers understand their tenancy and support offer.</p></li><li><p>Promote customer engagement, community involvement and meaningful participation in service development.</p></li><li><p>Identify, report and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and statutory guidance.</p></li><li><p>Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to deliver coordinated, holistic support.</p></li><li><p>Support rent management and budgeting skills, following arrears procedures and maintaining accurate records.</p></li><li><p>Work alongside the Supported Housing Officer to address tenancy breaches, issue warnings where required, and support positive behaviour change.</p></li><li><p>Promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and take responsibility for health and safety in line with organisational policies.</p></li></ul><h6><strong>What does success look like?</strong></h6><ul><li><p><span>Get feedback from my customers, peers and my manager about my effectiveness in delivering my services, as well as how I deliver them.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate the improvements I have delivered with tangible results that show success.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate that Curo is fully compliant with legislative obligations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Successfully meet the KPIs and objectives agreed for myself and my team.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate my active participation in Curo company life.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use the Curo Quality Assurance measures to demonstrate my consistent delivery of our team processes.</span><strong><br></strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>What you'll get in return</strong></p><p>Beyond a salary of £24,730 and the chance to make a difference&nbsp;every day, you'll get:</p><ul><li><p>26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays), increasing to 29 days</p></li><li><p>Your birthday off as an extra holiday</p></li><li><p>Up to 10% matched pension contribution</p></li><li><p>Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days at home)</p></li><li><p>Flexible benefits which might include a Health Cash Plan</p></li><li><p>Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your wellbeing<strong><br></strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>More about you</strong></p><ul><li><p>A strong understanding of homelessness, vulnerability, and the challenges faced by people accessing supported housing services.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with vulnerable customers, managing a caseload, and delivering support through multi-agency partnerships.</p></li><li><p>Sound knowledge of safeguarding practice, social housing and tenure legislation, and professional boundaries.</p></li><li><p>The ability to engage and motivate people from diverse and hard-to-reach groups, building effective, respectful relationships.</p></li><li><p>Experience developing and reviewing support plans, risk and needs assessments, and monitoring outcomes to identify unmet needs.</p></li><li><p>Awareness of training, employment and education pathways to support customer development and independence.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, record-keeping and IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and information systems.</p></li><li><p>A flexible, resilient team player able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent customer service.</p></li><li><p>A clear commitment to equality, diversity, confidentiality, and health and safety in line with organisational policies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About Curo</strong></p><p>We're a leading South West housing association with social purpose at our heart.
