title=""></figure><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><p><span>Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, you’ll be the technical lead on multiple residential developments, from early-stage due diligence through planning, detailed design, and delivery.&nbsp;</span></p><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Key responsibilities include:&nbsp;</span></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span>&nbsp;</span></p></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Managing and coordinating consultant design teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and value-engineered designs&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Managing the technical approval and condition discharge process with NHBC and Building Control&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Liaising with utility providers and services consultants to secure mains connections, diversions, and disconnections&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Progressing and managing Section Agreements and statutory approvals with local and statutory authorities&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Supporting the Planning Manager on reserved matters planning applications, and leading the application process for NMAs, S73s, and condition discharges&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Managing consultant appointments, fees, and performance against programme and budget&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Providing technical due diligence to support the Land team with acquisitions&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Acting as Principal Designer (with consultant support) under CDM Regulations during the pre-construction phase&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Providing technical support to the commercial, construction, and sales teams&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Mentoring junior team members and contributing to reporting at project and business style="text-align:left;"><span>We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Manager with proven experience delivering residential schemes in a housebuilding or main contractor contractor&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience)&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Strong understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC/LABC requirements, and CDM Regulations&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Excellent project and programme management skills&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Strong design coordination capability with a keen eye for detail&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Experience managing consultant teams, technical budgets, and value engineering&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Confident communicator able to explain complex technical
