About this role

Job Summary

This role manages the development and delivery of "Market Insights & Strategy" that strengthens internal knowledge and enables accurate, data-driven decision making. The position partners closely with OEM's, Fleet Owners, Customers, and External Research agencies to develop long term Forecast, Market Insights by monitoring critical signposts that impact business performance. The role will also lead the Marketing Core Team for the Global 7 Kailash Program (B7.2) and provide market intelligence support to CES and CCS. An understanding of the Commercial Vehicle market is an added advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy effective methods to monitor relevant market trends, competitive threats, and overall market activity.
  • Generate informed, unbiased, and credible market intelligence that improves market understanding and supports leadership decision making.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to business leaders, aligning insights with business priorities and decision-making needs.
  • Lead and manage special projects, providing market inputs to support strategy development and informed business decisions.
  • Leverage competitive research and market analysis to support ad hoc intelligence requests across assigned regions and market segments.
  • Analyze market drivers and historical trends to develop segment-specific market forecasts in support of strategic planning and key initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external knowledge networks (e.g., vendors, industry experts, trade shows, conferences, and industry events) to develop a comprehensive market view.
  • Champion a culture of intelligence gathering, insight generation, and value-added analytical support across the organization.
  • May manage and mentor a small team of Market Insights analysts responsible for research, data analysis, forecasting, report writing, and project support.
