Job Description

Our Minworth site are now recruiting for a Stock Administrator on a full time permanent basis!

Salary: £26,520 per annum plus £2,000 night allowance.

Working hours: Monday-Friday nights, 10pm-6am.

As a Stock Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining the stock integrity and receiving of goods in within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. 

Key Duties of a Stock Administrator:

  • Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend/rework accordingly.
  • Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area. 
  • Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
  • Responsible for managing the Hold and Release process.
  • Assist in the management of the pallet database.
  • Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
  • Completion of reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Assist Stock Management with investigations. 
  • Work with the Goods In team and assist with receipting process.
  • Manage the booking in diary and liaise with hauliers/suppliers regarding late deliveries. 
  • Responsible for any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • PC literate and experience in MS Excel.
  • Ability to solve problems methodically and actively seek resolutions.
  • Self-starter, ability to work using own initiative.
  • Able to manage own work load effectively and prioritise.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Organised, clean and tidy approach to work.
