We are now recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our Ports Team at Widnes on a Full Time and Permanent Position. 

The current opportunity is a container operation and will involve moving containers throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites and some manual handling maybe required. 

Shifts:

• Sunday-Thursday - 17:00pm-19:00pm start window.

• Monday-Friday 14:00pm.

• Monday-Friday 16:00pm-19:00pm. 

Salary: All rates of pay include a Meal allowance and a Tier Payment already included. 

• Monday-Friday Days - £14.50 per hour. 
• Monday-Friday Nights - £15.80 per hour. 
• Saturday and Sunday Day - £17.50 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night - £18.00 per hour.
• Bank Holidays - £18.31 per hour. 

• You will need 6 months Class 1 experience. 
• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
