We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers on Nights to join our team at Great Bear Lutterworth MP1 on a Full time and permanent position.
Job Description
Shift: Monday-Friday Nights - Please be advised there will be a 2 hour start window.
Salary: £42,298 per annum plus £3,000 per annum Nightshift premium.
Overtime: £22.19 per hour across all shifts after 55 hours worked.
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
- Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience is essential for this role.
- Full C+E Entitlement along with CPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Please be advised that you may come into contact with Alcohol.

What you'll do
- The Class 1 Driver is responsible for making deliveries to customers' premises while maintaining a high standard of behavior and appearance. They must also manage their working time in accordance with regulations and complete daily vehicle checks.
