Senior Fund Accountant
Hybrid in either Livingston, NJ or Wilmington, DE
Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Some of the things you will be doing:
CSC US Funds Solutions’ group is seeking a Senior Accountant with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service. Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
- Review bookkeeping and accounting records
- Review support schedules for books and records (accruals, prepaid expenses, etc.)
- Prepare and/or review financial statements and support schedules (GAAP and other basis)
- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and prepare and distribute letters
- Investor and compliance reporting
- Daily client interaction
- Matrix reporting structure for client services
- Internal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)
What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?
- BS Degree in Accounting - CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Experience in portfolio/investment accounting; private equity accounting experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
- Investran experience preferred
- Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
At CSC, compensation depends on several factors, including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range of base salary is $75,000 to approximately $100,000.
