Your Role:

As a Subrogation Assistant, you are fully trained in all core aspects of the role and continue to develop expertise. You work under general supervision, receiving guidance for routine tasks and detailed instruction for new or complex assignments. You apply job knowledge, skills, and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.

Your work:

• Utilizes multiple systems to service policies and process transactions such as address changes, loss payee updates, total loss vehicle removals, and Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Creates insurance documents and new business packets in accordance with established procedures.
• Answers calls and resolves issues on the help desk.
• Investigates billing and payment discrepancies issues to resolution and prepares supporting documentation.
• Reviews applications for insurance eligibility and binds new business policies.
• Performs quality control and compliance review within work areas as assigned.

Required Experience, Education and Skills:

• Strong customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Working knowledge of office procedures and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent plus vocational training
• 2 – 3  years of clerical, office or support experience
• P&C license required if binding new business policies
