About this role

As a member of our development team, you will contribute to the design, development, evolution, and cloud readiness of complex software applications. You will work across the full stack, participate in architectural decisions, and help ensure high‑quality delivery within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Development, testing, code review, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Designing and developing front‑end architecture and user interactions, creating reusable components to enhance user experience.
  • Writing clean, functional code for both front‑end (Angular) and back‑end (Java) development.
  • Analysing and supporting the integration of different information systems.
  • Performing data analysis, data modelling and creating software architecture documentation.
  • Coordinating the implementation of the technical architecture.
  • Assisting with testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Reviewing existing system architectures and supporting cloud migration initiatives.

Technical skills

Expertise

  • Back‑End: Java EE 8+, Spring Data (2.x/3.x), Spring 5.x, Spring Security 5.x, Hibernate 5.x, Spring Boot (2.x/3.x), Groovy, Grails
  • Front‑End: eUI framework, Angular 10+, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, ngRx, Bootstrap
  • Middleware & Databases: WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS 12.x+
  • Messaging: JMS (Queues/Topics) or Apache Kafka
  • Integration & Architecture: SOA, Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST)

Optional Expertise

  • Experience with AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect is an asset)
  • Hands‑on experience with eUI
  • Continuous Security Assurance tools: Fortify, SonarQube, OWASP DependencyChecks
  • Web security, authentication and authorization (OAuth, OpenID Connect)

Tools & Methodologies Used in the Unit

  • Methodologies: Agile Scrum, PM²
  • Tools: IntelliJ, SQL Developer, Visual Studio, Git, Maven, Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket), MS Teams, and standard collaboration tools

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex technical topics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English required; French is an asset.
