Overview

The  3D Digital Design Creation Assistant at Crocs will support the digital 3D creation Team across our product lifecycle. You will be part of a globally distributed team responsible for transforming 2D design concepts into high-fidelity 3D models. This role assists the various functions between design and 3D development, ensuring that the digital assets meet our rigorous quality standards and design intents.

What You'll Do

  • Translation of product footwear design sketches from  2D to  3D, creating lines around the lasts using 3D softwares generating views and sections.
  • 3D  product reviews with the  Team based on 3D comparisons, measurements, etc., making sure they are close to the design intent.
  • 3D scans of lasts, products, soles, and components/hardware, etc.
  • General 3D activities, such as exportations of various file formats, and what is needed to review a 3D product.
  • Resin model creations with 3D printers for prorotypes plus cleaning and assembling where needed.
  • support on projects platform using our internal system in place to manage the products with tasks and phases.
  • Shipments management  in and out of the office
  • Sample management in our archive.
  • Samples request creation in the System, components, and constant check for updates on products, development updates on fit tests, etc.
  • Document creation using Office Pack, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Support for fit tests in the office and creation of documentation, both photo and written, to improve fit and comfort were needed.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • English, both written and spoken
  • Passion and love for 3D molded products.
  • Attitude for systems platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge in parametric and 3D modeling using software like Rhino, Keyshot, Blender, Catia, etc., will be highly appreciated.
  • Curiosity and understanding of the industry-standard on footwear and 3D software.
  • A portfolio demonstrates knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering capabilities.
