About the Role:

At Critical Loop, we’re on a mission to make power more accessible and efficient. We’re expanding our production operations to increase capacity while still meeting regulatory compliance. We’re recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the organization of the production line and development of the production quality management system. This is a chance to help a growing company create the future of grid-scale battery storage while leveraging the latest automation tools that can minimize time-to-market.

Responsibilities:

• Develops manufacturing processes for new product introduction

• Works hands-on on the factory floor, to implement processes and resolve production issues

• Leads the optimization of manufacturing processes to keep overhead low and reduce production timelines

• Owns the development, certification, and maintenance of the Quality Management System, lead author for new quality system documentation

• Plans and coordinates audits for ISO9001 and UL factory certification

• Contributes to new product development by providing certification and compliance methods

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years with manufacturing operations in an ISO-certified quality management system

• Experience with multiple ISO9001 audits, specifically in planning internal audits and participating in external audits

• Strong skills in collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira) and developing automated workflows

• Manufacturing experience with high-power electrical components and machinery, such as power electronics, battery systems, industrial equipment, automated controls

• BS in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar engineering

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in a management or leadership role, making hiring and staffing decisions

• Knowledge of UL 9540, NFPA, NEC, and other Battery Energy Storage requirements

• Strong understanding of ISO, TUV, and UL certification and auditing practices
