Who We Are Looking For
Crisis24 is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Asia Pacific (APAC) regional intelligence team and represent Global Intelligence both commercially and operationally. The Manager, Intelligence for APAC will lead the Asia-Pacific intelligence program from Singapore, managing analysts both in-region and globally. The Manager will serve as the organization’s substantive authority on all APAC matters, with a particular focus on China and its second- and third-order impacts across Asia and the global markets.
The position is both a people leader and a senior analyst role. The Manager will set analytic standards, mentor and develop talent, and drive production of forward-looking intelligence that directly supports clients’ strategic, operational, and business decisions. The Manager, Intelligence for APAC will be responsible for building a mature strategic intelligence program: shaping regional priorities, integrating APAC analysis into global products, strengthening China-focused insight and tradecraft, and ensuring the APAC team is tightly connected to Crisis24’s worldwide intelligence organization.
This role requires an individual who communicates clearly and consistently across time zones, builds trust and accountability across dispersed teams, and can translate complex regional dynamics into actionable insight for both internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Work On
- Lead and manage APAC analysts located in Singapore and other global hubs, setting clear priorities, expectations, and performance standards
- Establish strong communication rhythms across time zones to ensure alignment, accountability, and information flow
- Consistently position the team to deliver high-quality strategic intelligence reports to clients worldwide
- Mentor analysts to strengthen analytic tradecraft, writing quality, and client-relevant judgment
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture within Singapore and integrate with Crisis24’s global intelligence and operations organization
- Drive APAC regional intelligence priorities within the global production framework and collection strategy
- Closely collaborate with Global Operations and Operational Intelligence team to deliver actionable intelligence support is for personnel protection, organisation risk management, protective services, and operational decision-making
Client Engagement and Business Development Support
- Serve as a senior client-facing representative for APAC intelligence, including webinars, briefings, and advisory calls for senior corporate and government stakeholders
- Drawing on extensive knowledge of generalist global security matters, as well as an understanding of Crisis24 priorities, capabilities, and protocols to support business development, marketing, and account management around APAC and non-APAC issues
- Identify emerging and underserved intelligence issues relevant to existing and prospective clients
Strategic Intelligence and Substantive Expertise
- Serve as Crisis24’s senior substantive authority on APAC
- Lead the development of forward-looking assessments and scenario-based products on the Asia Pacific region
- Ensure APAC analysis connects to regional developments to global risk themes (supply chains, technology, geopolitics, security environments)
- Review analytic products to meet Crisis24 standards for executive-level clients
- Ensure rapid, coordinated coverage of major regional developments and crises in close collaboration with security and medical operations
Program Development and Growth
- Actively contribute to the evolution of Crisis24’s strategic intelligence offerings, particularly APAC with an eye to growing our China coverage
- Identify opportunities to expand regional coverage, analytic depth, and product relevance
- Support the integration of APAC intelligence into organization-wide flagship products and initiatives
What You Will Bring
- 8+ plus years of experience in intelligence, geopolitical risk, security analysis, or a closely related field
- Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred to support engagement with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders. Additional Asia-relevant languages (e.g. Japanese, Korean, Urdu, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, etc.) are an advantage
- Deep substantive knowledge of Asia-Pacific matters; China expertise is of high importance
- Experience working in or on Asia, with strong familiarity with regional political, economic, and security dynamics
- Providethe ability to produce and oversee strategic, forward-looking intelligence reports
- Demonstrated experience leading analytic teams, including distributed global teams
- Experience effectively working and communicating cross-functionally in Singapore in a global context
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required (Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Intelligence or other). Master’s degree a plus
- Proven client engagement; experience in briefing senior corporate and government stakeholders
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required
- The ability to review and edit written content in English
