JOB DESCRIPTION: INTELLIGENCE ANALYST II

Who We Are Looking For

Crisis24 is hiring an Intelligence Analyst based in our office in Bangalore, India, to join our Embedded Intelligence Services Division. The role will be to support the needs of various clients, producing bespoke intelligence to support specific requirements as directed. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have broad corporate security or intelligence analysis experience, and be suited to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

The role is to support a 24/7 team and therefore will involve weekend and shift work. This is a hybrid role with regular office attendance required.

What You Will Work On

Produce timely, comprehensive, customized intelligence products to inform decision makers and support various client functions and requirements. Typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • Open-source intelligence collection for active and developing threats to client travelers, assets, and operations
  • Gather, assess, and disseminate analysis on regional trends, events, and global security threats, the likelihood and to what degree that they will affect the client travelers, assets, and operations
  • Liaise with client stakeholders to understand  requirements and concerns
  • Actively monitor open-source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real time for issues that could affect business operations and personnel 
  • Produce bespoke itinerary-based threat assessments covering travel, sites, and locations
  • Be responsible for the production and delivery of regular cadence intelligence reports (Daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Conduct social media monitoring for threats to individuals and brand reputation, and investigations into persons of interest
  • Manage client expectations by understanding the EIS team’s product offerings and limitations
  • Support the manager in tracking metrics around production

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters’ degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 2 to 4 years’ of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, or a related field required

Skills

  • Excellent research, writing, and verbal briefing skills
  • Excellent analytic skills, including familiarity with analytic techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps
  • Effective problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision
  • Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills
  • Good rapport-building skills with other analysts, subject matter experts, and client contacts
  • Additional language and travel experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Flexible hours and work days are required to meet Crisis24’s core mission
  • Required to be available to travel to client locations as needed
