SALARY: $22.75/hour, bonus eligible

SHIFT:  

• 8-hour shifts

• Monday - Friday

• 7AM – 3PM

ROLE SUMMARY: A Cellar Person at Four Peaks Brewery reports to our Cellar Supervisor and is responsible for carrying out a variety of crucial cellar tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work area to help carry out our mission of producing beverages at the highest quality of standards. This is a repetitive job well suited for an individual who takes pride in minor details and understands their impact when considered as a collective whole in the brewery.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Proficient in all entry level cellar/brewhouse operations:

  • Daily fermentation vessel CIP

  • Daily analytical sampling & record keeping

  • Monitoring fermentation

  • Yeast handling / hop & yeast dumps

  • Addition of Cold Side Ingredients to Fermenter

  • Dry Hopping

  • Finished beer transferring

  • Brew day preparation assistance

  • General brewery cleaning, including floors, piping, tank exteriors, etc.

  • Draft line cleaning

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, push 200 lbs and perform the physical requirements of the job.

• Compliant PPE usage.

• Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Frequently use strong communication skills to communicate amongst brewing team and other production departments (QA, packaging, warehouse, and maintenance).

• Maintaining high performance standards through safe operations and quality standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 21+ years of age.

• Must be able to drive forklift and scissor lift.

• Relevant professional experience including knowledge of equipment and sanitation.

• Ability to safely handle chemicals including, but not limited to caustics and acids.

• Flexibility to work all required shifts.

• Basic computer skills required.

• Brewery and beer knowledge a plus.
