On this position, as Key contact person for all tax related activities you will work closely with external tax providers and internal partners. You will take the responsibility for the complete, timely execution of Tax Accounting operations jointly with the Head of Tax. In addition as Senior Tax specialist you will ascertain compliance with tax laws and regulations, specifically by ensuring due filling of local tax declarations, timely payment of taxes and by supporting local tax audits of all countries of activities – under the supervision of the Head of Tax.

What We Offer

• Be responsible for tax service provider requests, monitor deliverables including budget & gap analysis

• First level review of prepared transfer pricing documentation: local/master file package

• Support Tax Knowledge Management in all Tax Jurisdictions in scope

• Manage Indirect Tax matters: Liaise with ACC shared service center & external tax provider,

• Review Indirect Tax returns, reconciliations & payments

• Support during quarter, year-end & statutory closing

• Perform reconciliation of Tax Returns to IFRS accounts

• First level review of annual / bi-annual / monthly tax returns prepared by service provider

• Prepare tax payment, posting Instruction & accounts reconciliation

• Review of CIT estimates

• Provide information related to the preparation of the annual Tax Returns

• Reconciliation of Deferred tax accounts

• Prepare current tax accounts calculation and reconciliations

• Manage Indirect Tax matters: Liaise with ACC shared service center & external tax provider,

• Review Indirect Tax returns, reconciliations & payments

• Support during quarter, year-end & statutory closing

The minimum base salary is 3100 EUR and can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.

What You Offer

• Must have 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar function with focus on indirect & direct Tax expertise in an international environment

• University degree in business administration or similar education coupled with outstanding Accounting (Slovak Statutory & IFRS ) & Tax background (Local & International Tax law)

• Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

• Team work and ability to perform tasks independently

• Cultural sensitivity, ability to communicate and present in a clear & concise manner

• Solution oriented, ability to cope with complexity

• Experience with ERP Accounting Software/SAP FI/CO/SD and business warehouse is required

• Fluent English skills (in writing and speaking)

• Outstanding ability to react flexible to different requirements, capability to work accurately and resourcefully while under tight deadlines or during peaks

• Capability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and flexible environment
