The Supervisor, Housekeeping plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service at AC Hotel Bentonville, contributing to the overall success of the organization by leading and motivating the housekeeping team.
What you'll get to do
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure all areas of the property are clean and well-maintained
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
Train and develop housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Manage and control housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of guest concerns
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Knowledge of safety and security procedures, with a focus on preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology
