About the Role

We’re looking for a part-time Architectural Drafting Career Coach to support students through live workshops and optional 1:1 coaching.

This is not a traditional employment role and not a guaranteed-income position. It’s a flexible, paid opportunity best suited for drafting professionals who enjoy mentoring, teaching, and helping others break into the field — with upside if students choose to work with you.

How This Role Actually Works

• You host a live, one-hour workshop (seminar-style) for students

• You are paid $50 per workshop, plus any private coaching business you acquire

• You may receive exclusive coaching opportunities based on performance and engagement

• Workshops are used to provide value, answer questions, and showcase your expertise

• If students choose to book you for 1:1 coaching, you keep the coaching revenue

• You set your own availability and working hours

There is no requirement to convert students — workshops are paid regardless — but conversion is where the upside comes from.

Responsibilities

• Host a live, one-hour workshop on a monthly basis

• Answer student questions about architectural drafting careers and the job search

• Share real-world insight into what entry-level drafting roles actually look like

• Discuss tools, workflows, and expectations in real drafting environments

• Provide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request it

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional drafting experience (architectural, construction, or design firms)

• Strong working knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software

• Understanding of entry-level roles like Architectural Drafter, CAD Technician, or Junior Designer

• Interest in mentoring and helping career changers

• Strong communication and teaching ability

• Availability at least three evenings per week, ideally Tuesday–Thursday

• Self-starter mindset — comfortable leading workshops independently

Compensation

• $50 per one-hour workshop (One per month guaranteed)
