The Market Insight & Demand Planner role at Coty shapes a regional transformation and directly influences strategic decisions. You will drive impact across a fast‑growing Travel Retail business.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As our Market Insight & Demand Planner, you are responsible for forecasting, insights, coordination.

 

In this role, you build a reliable demand forecast by integrating market insights, customer signals and business intelligence. You lead the local S&OP process for Travel Retail Europe & Africa and ensure cross-functional alignment with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply to maximize product availability, right‑size launches and optimize inventory performance.

 

 

Your main focus :

 

Lead demand forecasting

  • Build accurate forecasts integrating market, customer and sales insights
  • Consolidate sell-in, sell-out and EPOS data to feed robust assumptions
  • Identify risks, opportunities and drivers affecting demand reliability
  • Ensure forecast drivers are complete, consistent and up to date

 

Drive the local S&OP process

  • Prepare and animate monthly S&OP meetings with Commercial, Marketing and Finance
  • Align demand, assumptions and business scenarios across teams
  • Communicate local insights to central demand planning teams
  • Support financial forecasting through accurate volume valuation

 

Manage product launches and portfolio lifecycle

  • Define the right sizing of innovations with Marketing and Sales
  • Adjust forecasts based on market performance and post‑launch learnings
  • Manage introductions and phase-outs to prevent excess and obsolescence

 

Support supply continuity and customer collaboration

  • Monitor stock availability and highlight risks proactively
  • Partner with Global Deployment & DRP teams to secure supply flows
  • Contribute to allocation decisions based on business priorities
  • Maintain regular collaboration with key retailer supply teams

 

Drive continuous improvement

  • Use digital tools (Power BI, o9, AI assistants) to enhance analytics
  • Conduct root cause analyses to close process and accuracy gaps
  • Recommend and implement improvements to S&OP and demand planning processes

The role is part of the Travel Retail Europe Supply Chain team and reports to the S&OP Leader Travel Retail Europe. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain teams and key Travel Retail customers. Your colleagues are collaborative, data‑driven and passionate about shaping a fast‑growing business.

 

 

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

 

You enjoy analyzing, connecting data points and turning insights into business decisions. As an experienced demand planner, you work with rigor, curiosity and autonomy, and you thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural and transforming environment

 

Other than that you :

 

  • Bring strong technical skills: SAP, JDA, OMP, Excel advanced, o9, Power BI.
  • Have proven experience in demand planning (minimum 2 years) in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to build recommendations
  • Are fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • Show adaptability, digital mindset, attention to detail and ownership.
