About this role
EXEC SUMMARY:
Co-lead the execution of the global fragrance procurement strategy supporting Coty’s ambition to become a fragrance & scent powerhouse.
Drive category strategy, value-creation, supplier partnerships, and innovation enablement while embedding sustainability, compliance, and resilience.
1. Category Execution & Innovation
• Manage day-to-day sourcing of fragrance
• Execute sourcing events and maintain cost models for assigned sub-categories
• Support innovation launches by securing timely ingredient availability and exclusivity agreements
2. Supplier Management
• Maintain strong relationships with fragrance houses and ingredient suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks to Sr Manager
• Contribute to SRM activities and joint business plans
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with R&D/olfactive teams to align on specs and timelines
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Regulatory for compliance and change-control
• Provide market intelligence and cost insights to internal stakeholders
4. Value Delivery & Compliance
• Negotiate tactical agreements within defined guardrails
• Ensure adherence to Coty’s sustainability and traceability requirements
• Track savings, cash improvement, and risk mitigation actions
Profile:
- 8–12+ years in direct procurement, preferably fragrance oils, specialty ingredients, chemicals or natural materials.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-stakeholder projects in a matrix environment.
- Strong strategic mindset with ability to challenge norms and drive transformation.
- Exceptional negotiation and SRM skills; ability to influence at C-level.
- Expertise in risk management, sustainability, and traceability.
