Overview

The Sr. Audit Support Assistant position efficiently and professionally handles more complex, broad daily administrative activities within the audit engagement. Responsibilities include handling multiple processes for a department, assisting auditors, collectors, managers, Business Optimization and others to meet and exceed expectations. This role will act as the central point of contact for the audit team in facilitating responses to general inquiries, data requests from both internal and external customers and dissemination of time critical communication and information. May engage in basic audit activities under the direct supervision of an audit professional. 

Responsibilities

  • Performs more focused or complex support and administrative assignments for the audit, including file management, data management, tracking and correspondence following established standards and work processes. May work close with a group of Audit Support Assistants to ensure maximum output is achieved. 
  • Obtains data files and/or generates reports for audits by identifying appropriate file parameters extracting data from downloaded and/or imported data files as requested by auditor. Provides analysis or higher level administration of Cotiviti and client systems. 
  • Serves as a key point of contact and facilitate responses for more complex inquiries and data requests from both internal and external customers. Communicates directly with the client or providers as necessary following established processes and procedures. 
  • Provides higher level proofing support on claims submittals to ensure accuracy of totals, verbiage, calculations or other key variables prior to client submission. 
  • Maintains productivity goals and standards set by the department. Insures all department rules and processes are followed. Alerts manager of system issues or other issues impacting productivity. 
  • Achieves the expected level of quality set by the department. Verifies completeness and accuracy of work. Alerts manager of issues or concerns impacting quality of work. 
  • Demonstrates adeptness in gathering data, analyzing problems, evaluating options, and developing/implementing creative solutions to job challenges. Makes logical, well-reasoned and timely decisions, seeking guidance and support as appropriate. 
  • Demonstrates competency with tools of the job including but not limited to filing systems, computers, word processing & spreadsheet applications, web systems, Cotiviti and Client systems, data file structures and Power Point. Can efficiently download and format common file types. 
  • Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion. Uses a structured and dependable approach to accomplishing assigned work. 
  • Shows initiative and a willingness to engage in all audit support activities. Reaches beyond current tasks to add value to broader team. Goes the extra step to solve problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them. 
  • Works with clients, customers, and partners to accurately assess their needs, provide information assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy requirements. 
  • Can be counted on to consistently meet or exceed goals and perform at expected levels of quality and productivity. Demonstrates willingness and readiness to take on more responsibility in support of the audit. 

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent education. 
  • 3 to 5+ years administrative support preferred. 
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system databases are required.  Intermediate - Advanced skills in Excel required. 
  • Advanced English Speaking/Writing) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work well in an individual and team environment. 

 

NOTE: All interviews will be conducted in English.

 

Base compensation ranges from $18,000/mo. to $19,500/pesos per month. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
