About this role

Overview

The Trainer Consultant of Implementations is responsible for providing effective and relevant training to our clients through online, in person and recorded sessions. This is achieved through evaluating the Training Request, communicating with the client and the internal support team, and utilizing tools and techniques to deliver on the objectives. They will apply different forms of technology to measure the success of the training and make updates to the strategy based on the results.

Responsibilities

  • Consult and collaborate with internal departments to develop training materials that achieve defined learning outcomes by appropriately evaluating the need and making sound training recommendations.
  • Create course materials and teaching aids that support content delivery and skills assessments.
  • Problem-solving and manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards as you revise, modify, and update training materials.
  • Deploy feedback tools Sitting for Sto assess the effectiveness of the curriculum.
  • Track training outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives.
  • Identify individual and organizational obstacles to learning and facilitating interventions.
  • Respond to trainee questions and adjust course content as required.
  • Facilitate the delivery of technology-based and multimedia-centered teaching.
  • Ability to explain complex, technical concepts clearly, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, technical writing, communications, or related fields required.
  • Experience in healthcare industry with Brokers and Consultants, Employers, Health Plans, Physicians groups, and/or Third-Party Administrators preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex, technical concepts clearly, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 1+ year of experience as a trainer.
  • Training Consulting Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of tools such as HTML, training authoring tools, PDF creation, Microsoft application suite, and version control systems.
  • Work independently and effectively communicate with all involved to meet desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training methods and best practices for user training on application software including thorough understanding of training techniques.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Travel: up to 25%.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • No adverse environmental conditions are expected.
  • Typing, reading, speaking, listening, interacting, and reasoning.
  • 5 lb. lifting requirement

Base compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
