VP, Strategic Initiatives – Commercial Card

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a VP Strategic Initiatives within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Commercial Card line of business and is located in Atlanta or Nashville. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic projects, including client-facing projects, new product launches and other initiatives resulting in significant additional revenue for the company. You will report directly to the General Manager of the Commercial Card business and regularly collaborate with clients and associates across all functions to manage large, complex projects.

As a VP Strategic Initiatives, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. C will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Work with the Risk team to reimagine & re-evaluate credit approval process for the Commercial Card business, improving cycle times, auto approvals and conditional approval process
  • Evaluate reasons for attrition in the business & improve retention through attrition reduction initiatives, especially by targeting attrition of high value clients.
  • Evaluate and implement key initiatives to drive higher conversions of card products for existing Full AP clients.
  • Leading & executing on major product launches, coordinating go to market plans across marketing, sales, product development, operations, and finance
  • Executive presentation & delivery of results to leaders in the organization.
  • Evaluate & implement new initiatives to improve revenues for the business, including cross-sell and reduce softness.
  • Identify & lead execution on opportunities for pricing/offers, operational improvements, and product enhancements
  • Leading end to end delivery of projects, including project kickoffs, establishing project plans, enlisting and managing work stream owners, conducting stakeholder reviews, providing executive status reports, and conducting lessons learned sessions
  • Own & execute on key revenue, retention and onboarding metrics for the multi-card business

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field preferred
  • 3-7 years of experience in product leadership, strategy
  • Significant experience in leading large, complex projects
  • Experience in management consulting and/or financial services & card industry preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand multiple, complex systems; understand and manage project risks and the revenue impacts
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly recognize issues and drive insights
  • Proven experience to drive results through cross-functional teams, while holding others accountable
  • Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally
  • Strong customer orientation and empathy
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
