Charge Submission Analyst (Hybrid)

Title: Charge Submission Analyst 

Location: Ballwin, MO (Hybrid)

Reports to: Front End Manager 

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt  

Full-Time  

Salary Range: $21 to $26

Position Overview: The Charge Submission Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of charges to payers and patients, playing a critical role in the revenue cycle process. This position involves reviewing, validating, and entering charge data, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to support clean claim submission. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of medical billing practices and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Charge Submission that involves entering and updating Patient Demographics, Charge Information, and Insurance 
• Review, Analyze and Coordinate daily work flow for assigned accounts 
• Research and Correct billing errors
• Examine logs and tracking software to reconcile charges
• Release and Post charges in the billing software 
• Communicate with facilities to obtain missing or additional information 
• Work closely with team members across multiple functions to resolve inquiries timely
• Support the global charge entry team with inquiries, training, and feedback
• The ability to work independently

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum 1 -2 years of recent experience (Would be willing to train the right person)  
• Knowledge of Medical Billing Terminology  
• Solid and Stable Work History  
• Excellent Time Management Skills 
• Committed to Organizational Development   
• Enthusiastic and professional phone mannerswhileexhibitinga positive attitude 
• Strong communicationskills (verbal, written and active listening)
