About the department 

The Resource Center is made up of Nurses, Nurse Technicians, Behavorial Health Techs and Unit Secretaries. Team members in this department support the unit of greatest need each day at both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospital. As a part of the Resource Center, team members care for various patient populations and have the experience of supporting a different unit each day. The patients, families, and team members all greatly value and appreciate the help and expertise that the Resource Center team provides daily.

Scope of work 

Under supervision of a Nurse and following hospital policies and procedures, performs various nursing care tasks and treatments on assigned patients. Performs routine bedside nursing activities including bathing and personal grooming of patients, vital signs, would care, ambulating, assisting patients with bedpans or urinary devices. 

  

Qualifications 

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent  

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or  

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
