About this role

Job Summary

Working as part of a team under consistent supervision, provides basic level technical support to members of the healthcare community with a focus on client technology/devices and standard corporate applications utilizing technical knowledge, corporate standards, problem solving and communication skills at a basic or novice level.

Essential Functions

  • Fundamental knowledge of corporate usage standards/policies related to end user devices/technology. Technical and functional understanding of corporate standard client devices for purpose of deployment, support, and customer education at a Novice level.
  • Limited (Novice) experience with common micro-computer operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Limited (Novice) experience with problem definition, troubleshooting and corrective actions in support of end user devices/technology.
  • Ability to identify technical and functional specifications to meet customer needs related to client devices within the framework of corporate standards at a Fundamental level.
  • Novice level interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service focus.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel at a Novice level.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant experience in the field
  • Client technology support experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Microsoft A+ Certification
