Who You’ll Work With

The Product Delivery team, part of the Product Management department, interacts with multiple business functions, including Product Development, Product Pricing, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Operations, and provides support and expertise in the launch of annuity products and strategic initiatives for the Individual Retirement business unit. This role will report to the Sr. Business Analyst under the Product Delivery Team.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing technical, analytical, and delivery implementation workflow support. The Product Delivery team is accountable for managing the implementation of all new product development initiatives and the ongoing management of our in-force book of business. Additionally, this team provides technical support to the entire Product Management department and is essential to the success of Individual Retirement product development and IT modernization efforts. The person in this role will have substantial opportunities to gain experience within the product organization, leverage and develop existing skills, learn new skills, and train with a best-in-class Product team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the project team and IT to scope and document business systems requirements
  • Support product-related systems implementation and business production, including preparation of contract form samples
  • Work with IT Business Analysts to evaluate recommended solutions for the most efficient and cost-effective system design
  • Work with QA and UAT teams to ensure robust test plans are created and executed, and ensure that forms are installed as approved and according to product design with no end customer impact
  • Manage approval of IT documentation to ensure business requirements are documented accurately and test plans are developed accordingly
  • Provide vital assistance related to in-force issues resolution and risk mitigation
  • Conduct moderately complex data mining and analysis, and produce ad hoc/recurring reports
  • Collaborate with Product teams as well as other areas of the company, such as Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Distribution, Legal, and IT, to ensure full understanding of initiatives being implemented
  • Provide support on multiple projects, with key emphasis on the technical components
  • Carry out other tasks as required to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective support and implementation of new initiatives or other projects supporting the sales, distribution, and ongoing management of the company’s products

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of working experience (within the financial services/annuity industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand and articulate impacts of simple to moderately complex concepts, as well as interpreting data analysis results
  • Ability to visualize and/or contribute to the presentation of an idea or process (from concept and design to presentation)
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate recommended solutions for the most efficient and cost-effective system design; ability to review QA test plans to ensure robust testing will be executed
  • Proficiency in communicating with stakeholders at cross-disciplinary levels in the organization and ability to grow in knowledge to successfully manage projects
  • Strong collaboration skills and responsiveness to business needs and operational demands
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills with emphasis on strong documentation and clear, concise communication
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment without compromising diligence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while delivering quality results and adjusting to changing needs and deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail with impeccable organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to build relationships with business partners to achieve assigned goals
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to change
  • Adaptive learner who is easily able to learn about new products, systems, and technologies
  • Update, track, and organize project documentation related to technical and print-related requirements
  • Ability to comprehend IT documentation and provide concerns and feedback to management
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, and experience with Jira and Confluence

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
