Cook Children's has a new opportunity for a Designer. You will conceptualize and oversees the development of the Cook Children’s campus’ physical environment (sets, scenery, props) for seasonal and other large-scale events that appropriately reflect Cook Children’s values. You will work closely with the construction teams to design and build everything—from backdrops to furniture, ensuring it all fits the story and practical needs.
As Cook Children's Designer, you will be an individual contributor and subject matter expert who combines artistic talent with research on product use, marketing, and materials to create the most functional and appealing product design. You will have wide authority to enact vision but routinely confers with engineering, construction, marketing, and other key stakeholders to establish and evaluate design concepts.
Requirements
10+ years’ previous experience designing for large-scale events and/or organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in management and décor.
