Overview

Position Summary

Control Systems, Inc. (CSI) is hiring Electricians with experience bending, installing, and running conduit on commercial and industrial projects. This is a hands-on field role supporting a Lead Electrician and project team, with a strong focus on clean, efficient, and code-compliant conduit work.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities

  • Bend, install, and secure conduit systems including EMT, rigid, and PVC according to drawings and field direction.
  • Perform conduit bends using hand benders and mechanical benders, including offsets, saddles, kicks, and stub-ups.
  • Assist with conduit layout under the direction of the Lead Electrician.
  • Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, conduit routing plans, and jobsite instructions.
  • Pull conductors through installed conduit as required.
  • Support installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow CSI safety policies and jobsite-specific safety requirements at all times.
  • Communicate material needs, questions, or field issues to the Lead Electrician or field supervision.
  • Work cooperatively with crew members and other trades on site.

Qualifications

• Qualifications

  • Experience working as an Electrician on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Conduit bending and installation experience required (EMT, rigid, PVC).
  • Familiarity with NEC requirements related to conduit installation.
  • Ability to follow layout direction and installation standards set by the Lead Electrician.
  • Basic ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

  Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and work from lifts or scaffolding.
  • Ability to perform repetitive conduit bending and installation tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
