The Division:
Jonas, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., acquires, manages, and builds software businesses that provide specialized, mission-critical software solutions. Jonas companies seek to become leaders in their markets by improving their operations, growing through organic initiatives, and seeking acquisitions that can strengthen their market position.
The M&A Department has the mandate to increase Jonas' foothold in each of these domains, as well as achieve inorganic growth in other verticals.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct industry and competitive research to identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics (our investment profile, based on Vertical, Location) For businesses that meet our investment profile, identify key contacts and contact details, thus creating target lists for the Marketing and Business Development Team
Make recommendations to the Business Development Team to pursue new targets and enter new and adjacent markets, based on our aggressive appetite for accelerated growth.
Work in collaboration with a marketing team to drive desired M&A strategic outcomes, providing relevant reporting & KPI's on projects/campaigns. Other special projects as required.
Job Qualifications:
Demonstratable and committed success in prior research-led role.
Competent Excel skills and IT literate. Experience or willingness to learn web scraping is a bonus.
Prior experience of the using CRM systems is desirable such as Zoho, Hubspot or Salesforce
Experience within a business setting Working Hours This is an afternoon shift i.e. 1 pm till 10 pm (Pakistan Standard Time)
