About Bookassist

Bookassist (https://bookassist.org/) is a leading and award-winning Europe-based software and strategy company that works with hotels to build their online business through their own-brand websites. The company’s target segment consists of independent hotels (typically 4 and 5 star) and small hotel groups (typically 5-20 hotels), predominantly based in Europe. This is the market segment that the Bookassist corporate marketing team needs to address to drive company sales targets.

Bookassist works with client hotels to develop a tailor-made Digital Media strategy that promotes the hotel online through search engine optimisation, generative engine optimisation, pay per click advertising and multi-channel media presence. Bookassist also builds ecommerce-oriented websites for hotels on the company’s proprietary content management system to help capture online traffic and convert online visitors to successful bookers.

Bookassist is also a market leader in hotel website booking software with the Bookassist AI Booking Platform that increases the conversion of lookers to bookers with one of the highest conversion rates in the industry.

The company has offices in Ireland, Spain, Italy, Austria and Czechia.

About the Role

As Junior Marketing Associate you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate marketing activities for the target segment across several European markets. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager. This position is suited to a digitally native marketer with foundational experience who is eager to specialise in B2B SaaS. You should be comfortable with the core concepts of content and digital marketing and be looking to refine your execution skills. As Junior Marketing Associate at Bookassist, you will work with the Marketing Manager to devise unique campaign ideas to market our products and services to the target segment and to drive qualified leads. The current corporate marketing team consists of two people so the Junior Marketing Associate can play a significant part in shaping the direction of the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist in implementing marketing communication plans across multiple markets

● Own content creation for newsletters, social media, website

● Help draft, edit, and proofread marketing copy

● Assist with graphic design for marketing assets (e.g., social posts, visuals, videos)

● Coordinate general marketing activities, including campaign scheduling and reporting

● Support the collection and organisation of marketing materials, data, and assets

● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging

● Campaign delivery timelines

● Quality/consistency of brand output

Requirements

● At least 2 years experience in marketing, communications, or a related field

● Strong written English; additional European languages are a bonus

● Solid understanding of core digital and content marketing principles

● Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

● High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills

● Comfortable using content creation and design tools (e.g. Canva; Adobe tools a plus)

● Confident using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) to support research, ideation, and content creation

● Ability to both work independently and be part of a collaborative team

● A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and adapt quickly

● Degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent practical experience

Additional Useful Skills

● Experience supporting marketing activities across multiple countries or markets

● Familiarity with B2B or SaaS marketing environments

● Experience using HubSpot or other CRM / marketing automation platforms

● Basic understanding of campaign reporting and performance metrics
