PART TIME JANITORIAL SPECIALIST
LOCATION: DETROIT
Job Function:
As a Janitorial Specialist at Allied you’ll learn about all of our accounts and travel to various locations to cover shifts or provide additional assistance where it’s needed.
Open Availability: 7pm - 12am

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Restrooms
- Vacuum, sweep and mop
- Collect trash
- Wipe surfaces
- Other various cleaning related tasks

Minimum Qualifications :
- Flooring/stipping/waxing and supervisor experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Reliability and strong attendance record
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset

Optional Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment (floor buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet cleaners)

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools when necessary
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming
