Expected salary range of $147,600 to $164,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the overall performance and staff of assigned plant operations. This role is responsible for all aspects of the assigned facilities including P&L management, Environmental Health and Safety, contract adherence, customer satisfaction, and all-around risk management.

 

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Oversee and manage all plant operations and personnel in accordance with published company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage continuous delivery of contractual energy obligations and ensure adherence to customer contracts.
  • Deliver agreed upon company Profit and Loss requirements for plant operations.
  • Manage all subcontractors providing onsite services, including administrative oversight for contracts, purchase orders, and insurance requirements.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities and be the voice of the customer

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry or military experience
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience supporting stationary or marine utility operations including chillers, boilers, turbines, and HRSG
  • Proven track record of effective Profit and Loss management
  • Proven experience leading the implementation of corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety practices across operations
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a plant manager or operations manager in a large central plant operation
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Customer service experience within a central plant or utility operations environment
