Database Analyst

Are you passionate about data integrity, database performance, and business-critical systems? Then this position is for you.

As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems and supporting business processes to ensure high levels of availability, performance, and data quality across the organization.

Build side:

• Design and implement database systems within enterprise information systems

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data manipulation and reporting

• Work closely with development teams to improve business process efficiency and outcomes

• Assess and deploy innovative database solutions to simplify, automate, and optimize costs

• Ensure alignment between database architecture and business requirements

• Contribute to continuous improvement of data platforms and processes

Run side:

• Monitor and support critical business processes relying on database systems

• Administer and maintain databases in operational condition

• Implement and manage backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability

• Ensure backups comply with strategies defined by business lines

• Provide technical support to development and application production support teams

• Intervene during database incidents impacting performance or access to information

• Actively participate in post-mortems for major or recurring incidents

• Ensure performance and availability through monitoring and visualization tools

This is your background
You have strong experience as a Database Analyst or Database Administrator, supporting business-critical applications in complex environments. You enjoy working at the intersection of data, systems, and business processes and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

This is your career path
You will continue to grow as a database and data platform expert, strengthening your expertise in performance optimization, automation, monitoring, and modern BI and DevOps practices.

This is your expertise:

• Microsoft BI stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (preferably Tabular models)

• ETL development, optimization, and monitoring (SQL procedures, functions, etc.)

• SQL performance tuning, partitioning, and indexing

• Root cause analysis and incident resolution

• Power BI

• Master Data Services

• C#, PowerShell, .NET

• Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, ELK, Zabbix

• ITIL practices

• DevOps / CI-CD practices (working knowledge)
