Data Architect

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data architecture, data governance, and turning complex data landscapes into trusted, compliant ecosystems? Then this position is for you.
As Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving enterprise data models and ensuring data quality, security, and regulatory compliance across the organization’s data ecosystem.

Build side:

• Design and maintain logical and physical data models for new and existing applications

• Define and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data catalog entries

• Contribute to the evolution and alignment of the Enterprise Data Model with business needs

• Perform data architecture assessments for new IT assets, applications, and cloud deployments

• Define data flows, storage, and exchange standards in line with governance principles

• Ensure data designs comply with regulatory and internal standards (BCBS 239, GDPR, CCPA)

• Collaborate with project teams to embed data governance into delivery pipelines

Run side:

• Review and validate data architecture designs against enterprise data governance rules

• Maintain metadata, lineage, and master data relationships in architecture tools

• Support data quality issue resolution in collaboration with Data Quality Analysts

• Manage recertification, decommissioning, and archiving of data assets

• Keep architecture documentation accurate and up to date

• Deliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on data management practices

This is your background

You have at least 2–5 years of experience in demanding data architecture or data management environments. You enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, are constantly innovating, and value structured yet collaborative ways of working. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

You have developed solid experience in data architecture within complex, regulated environments, ideally in banking or financial services. You are motivated to grow as a trusted data advisor, influencing enterprise-wide data models, governance practices, and strategic initiatives.

This is your expertise:

• Data modelling tools: Archi, PowerDesigner, or similar

• Data governance & cataloguing tools: Collibra, Informatica, MS Purview

• Data management platforms: Abacus, Ab Initio, Talend DataCatalog, EBX/xDM

• Cloud environments and data security concepts (encryption, deployment types)

• Data formats and standards: JSON, XML, SWIFT

• Data visualisation or analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau

• Data preparation / ML platforms: Dataiku

• Strong understanding of metadata, data lineage, and master data management
