Read this opportunity to learn how YOU can make a difference at ConnectWise!</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>General Summary:</strong></p> <p><strong>ConnectWise SIEM</strong> is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to work on our <strong>core backend services</strong> and expand our 1st and 3rd party integrations. This critical role involves designing and implementing the foundational services that power the SIEM platform, as well as developing integration solutions that automate detection and response to threats. You will help build high-performance services to store, search, and visualize log activity from within <strong>ConnectWise SIEM</strong> for a holistic picture of our partners' environment</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable core services within the ConnectWise SIEM platform.</li> <li>Communicate with stakeholders (internal and external) to assess integration and platform needs.</li> <li>Work with product and development teams to assess the scope and build out solutions</li> <li>Update and maintain existing integrations, services, and documentation.</li> <li>Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code for high-volume systems.</li> <li>Contribute to the core engineering design of our application, including backend, middle-layer, and interfaces with frontend components.</li> <li>Ship code and plan features from start to finish with other members of the product team (product manager, developers, designers, and you) in an Agile approach.</li> <li>Maintain a growing infrastructure in AWS, help architect core solutions, and improve internal dev efficiencies with tooling and automation.</li> <li>Own key pieces of the application and help mentor junior developers with code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:&nbsp;&nbsp; <br></strong><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. </em><em>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
