PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Code Dental Clinic is a non-profit dental clinic that provides extractions and restorative procedures at half the cost of a regular clinic. Serving the Nanaimo community for over a decade, we are a specialized dentistry practice providing compassionate and quality services to adults who experience persistent barriers to accessing dental health care. The clinic is located at unit 201 – 489 Wallace St, Nanaimo.
ROLE PURPOSE:
We are looking for a casual Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), accreditation through the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP), to join our team at the CODE clinic in downtown Nanaimo. This is a casual position, with work schedules varying based on clinic operations. Dental Assistant experience is preferred but we are willing to train. This position offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment that has a great work culture.

COMPENSATION
The hourly wage range for the role is $30 to $32 and will be based on experience and qualifications. The hourly wage range provided represents the total compensation plan for this position. Actual hourly wage placement will be determined based on a variety of factors, including pay equity, market conditions, candidate experience, internal equity, and organizational priorities. Placement within the range is typically at the midpoint.
