Shift 1 Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday–Friday (Overtime Available)
Shift 2 Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday–Friday (Overtime Available)

What You’ll Do
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our operation running smoothly.
Your day will include:
Operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials
Using WMS systems and RF Scan guns to ensure accurate inventory control
Verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing deliveries
Staging, packing, and loading trucks for safe transport
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Following all safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and our products
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated team player with:
Forklift experience (required)
Mechanical pipe and insulation experience (required)
Warehouse experience (industrial distribution strongly preferred)
WMS and RF Scan gun experience
Class C Driver’s License with a clean MVR (preferred) – ability to assist with local deliveries when needed
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to work in varying temperatures and stay until the job is done

Conklin Metal Industries is a distributor of all types of sheet metal, and HVAC & Duct Fabrication supplies. We sell every material used in the construction of a commercial HVAC Duct system and have been buying and selling metal and metal products in the Southeastern United States for more than 140 years.
We service the entire southeastern U.S. out of ten warehouses. Each branch is managed by a branch manager, supported by one to three Territory Managers and services a territory that encompasses approximately a 200-mile radius. All branches vary in size and scope, and every branch serves the sheet metal and HVAC Duct Fabrication industry. However, many of our branches may differ in their specific market focus based on the regional market preferences and our team's strengths and experience.
We classify our products into several main Product Lines – Galvanized Coils & Sheets, Specialty Metals, Duct Fabrication Supplies, HVAC Air Distribution, HVAC Supplies and Duct Fabricating Machinery.
What you'll do
- As a Warehouse Associate, you will operate forklifts, manage inventory using WMS systems, and prepare shipments for delivery. You will also maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment while following safety protocols.
