• You will report onsite at our Louisville, KY Location.
• Hourly Rate: $22.45 + .75 shift differential
• Overtime as scheduled (daily and weekend)
• Weekend work schedule, with one or two days during the week. You will work 4 day work weeks most of the time depending on the demand of the business.

A Day in the Life of a Sanitation Technician:

The Sanitation Technician position is responsible for a variety of tasks including cleaning equipment and production areas while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. Responsibilities also include plant housekeeping/janitorial task which will include maintaining cleanliness of the common areas, Silo and rigid bin cleaning, interior blasting tasks and hygienic restoration events.

You Will:

• Clean, sanitize and inspect production equipment and areas
• Obtain all necessary tools to clean in place (e.g., chemicals, utensils)
• Assemble/disassemble equipment
• Rinse and clean all conveyors, rollers & hoppers with high pressure hoses
• Clean and rinse drains in assigned areas
• Clean, rinse, and sanitize all tools and utensils
• Remove all excess water, grease, and other materials
• Perform general housekeeping in common areas: restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, bathroom
• Follow LOTO procedures & be LOTO certified
• Know of GMP's and plant safety
• Understand damage/loss
• Know 5s principles / Support CPS programs
• Know of chemical awareness MSDS
• Available for overtime / Flex schedule around production times

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience - ideal
• 1+ years of experience - ideal
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety - ideal
• The ability to understand the basic machine operations and settings
• Physical-Lifting and Carrying: negligible pounds occasionally up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds to pull or lay objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position requiring the use of upper extremities and back muscles.
• Push or Pulling: using extremities to exert force to push, pull, draw, drag, haul, or tug objects exerting a negligible amount of force always, up to 10 pounds frequently.
