Shift: 1:30 PM-11:00 PM

Essential Job Functions: 

• Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position 

• Regular attendance to ensure shipping requirements are met 

• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English 

• Ability to move up to 40 lbs. 

• Effective communication skills, ability to work with others to drive issues to resolution. 

• Excellent attention to detail  

Job Duties:

• Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for production 

• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner (e.g., centerline, CI inspections, minor stop tracking, etc.) 

• Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properly 

• Monitor and maintain effective and efficient operation of equipment 

• Ensure production line conveyor belts are efficiently operating 

• Fill tray denester with appropriate trays for production run  

• Verify tray sizes to ensure accuracy 

• Clear minor jams, reset and start equipment as needed 

• Ensure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping, etc.) 

• Participate in PM, drumbeat, and AM activities as assigned 

• May perform general labor duties as assigned 

• May perform other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

• Ability to understand the effects of product damage and loss 

• Ability to solve problems independently 

• Ability to identify defects and drive problems to resolution through CAPD (Check, Act, Plan, Do) process  

• Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team at all levels 

• Knowledge of GMP’s 

• Ability to be LOTO (Lockout Tagout) certified 

• Knowledge of normal/routine 

• Ability to work with pork, chicken, beef, and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens 

Qualifications: 

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 

Experience Required: Minimum 3 months of production or related experience preferred.
