Shift: 5:00 AM-5:00 PM

You will provide general service, routine overhaul and emergency maintenance on all BEF plant and farm facilities and equipment. You will have a DOT certification. You will report directly to the Farm Shop Manager

This is a full-time unionized position, located in Waseca, Minnesota.

Wage Range depending on experience: $25.97-$31.51

You Will:

• Be able to lift 50lbs, and frequently bend, lift, twist, turn, climb, squat, craw, and reach.
• Have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a health card (DOT).
• Have basic hand tools to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Must have tools to, repair, and maintain plant or field equipment, both eclectically and mechanically.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and have initiative in improving company operations, food safety and Plant Safety.
• Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities assigned by the Farm Shop Manager.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with equipment in an Agriculture department.
• 5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment.
• 2 Year diesel technician certification, with expertise in the following areas:
  • Electrical systems (including 12V DC circuits), pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and proficient skills in welding and cutting.
